The Stewards of the Southwest Summit (SOTSW) is an annual gathering of Tribal and Indigenous land stewards from across the region to strengthen and advance the critical work that Tribes, Pueblos, and Nations are leading to protect, restore, and steward ancestral lands and waters. The SOTSW supports Tribal-led priorities by fostering connections with funders and state and federal partners, increasing awareness of available resources, and creating space for inter-Tribal collaboration opportunities. Through these efforts, the Summit aims to support Tribal sovereignty, reinforce Indigenous leadership, and strengthen the capacity of Tribal Nations in caring for ancestral lands.
